Using your Webmail address book

Your Webmail address book is used to store email addresses of people you send messages to. When you are composing messages, you can search your address book and select the recipients' names.

Adding an entry to your Webmail address book


Use these steps to add a new entry to the address book:

  • in the Address Book, click on Add
  • this will open a window where you can enter information for the new entry
  • when you have finished entering the information click on the Save button at the top or bottom of the window
  • this new entry will appear in your address book


Updating address book entries


Use these steps to update entries in the address book:

  • in the "Address Book" click on the name of the person you want to edit
  • a window will open with that person's details
  • make the changes you want
  • click on Save Changes

To store two or more email addresses for the same person, use a unique name for each address. For example, Jo Smith (work) and Jo Smith (home).

 

Selecting recipients


While composing a message, you can use your Webmail address book to select a recipient or recipients for your message.

  • on the Compose message screen click on the Address Book icon (next to the TO field)
  • within the search panel enter the search details of the addressee and click Search
  • a list of selected address book entires will be displayed
  • click the appropriate To, Cc and Bcc for each recipient
  • click OK to add the selected entries to the message


  • You can also use the following method

  • choose the Address Book
  • click on the email address of a person in your address book
  • this will open a new message to this email address
