Can I have a Directory listing if I don't have a computer?

We record which ourbrisbane.com member "owns" each listing to prevent unauthorised changes and to provide us with a method of contacting you. You will only be contacted in relation to changes to your listing or if you notify us. More information is available in the Directory

The "My Listings" box
Why can't I see the "My Listings" box?
Make sure you are
logged in as an ourbrisbane.com member. When logged in, you should see the "My Listings" box on the right side of all ourbrisbane.com Directory screens.
Why doesn't my organisation appear in "My Listings"?
There are several possibilities for this:
- if your organisation appears in the Directory but not in "My Listings", you may not have claimed the listing as your own. You can claim a listing and enhance it at the same time by editing it.
- the listing may have been claimed by another ourbrisbane.com member within your organisation. If you can't find out who that might be, contact us for assistance.
- if you can't find your listing in the Directory you will need to add a new listing.
What is a pending listing?
Any new listings you add or existing listings you edit will appear as "pending" until an ourbrisbane.com staff member can review and approve the new details. This will usually occur within two working days.
If you're updating a listing that already exists in the Directory, the current version will remain visible until your changes are approved.
How does a pending listing become active?
Pending listings will become active within two working days, after an ourbrisbane.com staff member has approved the listing. If there are any problems approving your listing, we'll contact the owner to discuss it. Unless a listing has been newly added, any "pending" listings will still appear in their current form to users of the Directory.

Who can view pending and rejected listings?
"Pending" and "Rejected" listings can only be seen by selecting the links from the "My Listing" box. For this reason, only the ourbrisbane.com member responsible for the listing can see these details. Some ourbrisbane.com staff can access these listings in order to approve or reject them. Once a pending listing is approved, it becomes visible to users of the ourbrisbane.com Directory.
What is an active listing?
An active listing is visible to users of the ourbrisbane.com Directory and has no pending changes awaiting approval. Listings that have "pending" changes are still visible to users in their original form.
What is a rejected listing?
Any listings that could not be approved by ourbrisbane.com for inclusion in the Directory will be listed as "Rejected". Select the listing name to view more information about the rejection.
